Autoreponders Tips & Growning Your List
I have been a full timer now online since about 2002, let me tell you it has really been quite a learning experience. To think that a professionally trained chef would be able to quite his job and work from home with no real training is a testament to the power of the internet.
It has been a continues to be a gradual process, I have never stopped learning about internet marketing. As I have progressed I have slowly began to appreciate the power of a mailing list. I have been been a paying member with aweber.com for about three years now. However in the past I had a tough time keeping up with websites, affiliate links, adding content and so on. Trying to also mail my various lists was always on the back burner.
However over the last years I have reached out to my mailing list more and more. Aweber.com has also provided more and more sophisticated tools such as what I like to call “rss to email”, which have also allowed me to automate connecting with my subscribers by simply updating my wordpress powered website (I tend to think of my sites as sites and not blogs).
Here are some tips I have used to build my list:
- Offer a free mini course or some type of quality content and give it away.
- Provide useful information to those that have subscribed and take care of those on your list.
- Use aweber.com, or feedburner.com rss to email to further automate sending out emails.
- Provide longtime subscribers or those that have purchased from you in the past perks, such as discount prices on products you sell.
